A documentary film about the people and stories behind the Kobe Bryant murals.

THE STORY

In the aftermath of Kobe Bryant’s tragic death, images of the Laker legend’s storybook life rose up across the city as local artists created larger-than-life tribute murals to honor the Black Mamba. Sincerely, Los Angeles is the first-ever documentary film about the people and stories behind the Kobe and Gianna Bryant murals. Award-winning filmmaker Patrick Green spent several months during the city’s Covid-19 lockdown, traveling through the city, documenting how these touching memorials turned into a movement that went viral.

Presented by Someone Great Pictures, Sincerely, Los Angeles  is an intimate love letter from the City of Angels to Kobe and Gianna Bryant. The feature-length film is filled with inspiring stories from everyday people who tapped into their inner Mamba Mentality to lift up our hearts, help each other grieve and continue Kobe and Gianna’s legacy. Shot under the backdrop of Covid-19, the film is very much a time capsule of 2020, showcasing how tragedy can turn to triumph.
